The Collaborative Partnership on Sustainable Wildlife Management (CPW) is a voluntary alliance of 13 international entities (such as FAO, IUCN, CITES, UN Environment Programme) with mandates to promote the sustainable use and conservation of wildlife resources. The CPW was established in 2013, based on the Convention on Biological Diversity’s Decision on sustainable use of biodiversity: bushmeat and sustainable wildlife management.
